It’s A Girl!

On Saturday I had the chance to go out to Stow Lake with my friend and her family to take some family photos. These weren’t just any family photos though they were gender reveal photos. I’m sure if you’ve perused pinterest at all these days you’ve seen some shots of couples finding out what they are having by opening up a box and depending on the gender either pink or blue balloons pop out. Jessica and I loved the idea so we decided to give it a shot.

Jessica brought me the top secret envelope on Wednesday and I had to keep quiet for 3 days!! I was so excited to find out that they were having a little girl. They already have a son so Jessica was hoping for a girl but she was convinced she was having a boy. She was extra happy and surprised when she found out it was a girl. Jessica and I have been friends for many many years and in a lot of ways she has been like a sister to me. So this was an extra special moment for us to share together. I’m super excited for her and her family and look forward to meeting her sweet bundle of joy in a couple of months!
